“Furever”, Coping With Your Pet’s Death

I had the wonderful opportunity to be interviewed by a local AM radio station, 550 KTRS this morning to discuss the St. Louis Independent Film Festival showing of a documentary called “Furever” that will be shown on Friday, November 22, 2013 at Webster University in Webster Grove, MO.   Furever was produced by Amy Finkel.  Through the years, Amy has experienced pet deaths and struggled with her grief wondering if it was real and was it normal to grieve like she had.  She decided to invesitgate her experience and created this documentary that looks at how we grieve and celebrate our pet’s lives while coping with the loss of our pets.  This documentary also explores the many companies, us being one, that offer pet parents a way to memorialize their beloved pets.  Currently, this is not available outside the independent film showings as of yet but will be after the first of 2014.  When it is, I will share they ways for it to be viewed.
