How to Create Your Living Memorial

The age of the ashes does not affect the LyLg process, so you can memorialize pets cremated recently or many years ago.
Finding the Right Mix
The size of your pet and the amount of ashes you wish to return to the earth will determine which LyLg product to use.
- Miniature breeds, ferrets, birds (small-sized pets up to 25 lbs.): 3 in. LyLg kit
- Small breeds (medium-size pets up to ~50 lbs.)*: 6 in. LyLg kit
- Medium breeds (average-size pets up to ~75 lbs.)*: 9 in. LyLg kit.
- Large breeds (large pets up to ~100 lbs.)* or multiple pet ashes: 12 in. LyLg kit
*The actual amount of ash from cremation is dictated by the bone structure of your pet, so the weights listed are guidelines. You do not need to use all of the cremated ash for your pet. In fact, many people choose to keep some for use in other keepsakes.
Choosing the Plants to Grow
The LyLg formula works with a wide variety of soil and plant types. Many people choose to plant a tree or perennial bush, but if you aren’t sure, check with your local nursery. They can help you find something that will thrive in your climate.
