Can I still scatter my pet’s ashes if I use Let your Love grow?

We recommend doing a container or an in-ground planting when using Let your Love grow.  However, if scattering the organic mix around a plant works best for you, then protect it by adding a layer of organic material such as straw or top soil over it. This protects LyLg from erosion by wind, precipitation and watering.

What types of plants or trees are right for use with the Let your Love grow organic mix?

Let your Love grow can be used with a variety of plantings.  If you need assistance with your selection, your local nursery can help you choose a plant best for your area.

Can additional ashes be added to Let your Love grow?

Yes.  One memorial can reflect multiple pet lives. You can even blend a person's cremated ashes with their beloved pet’s ashes to create a lasting tribute to the bond they shared in life.

What if the cremation was not done recently?

It does not matter how long it has been since the cremation. Ashes remain stable and can be combined with Let your Love grow at anytime to create a memorial.

Do I have to bury the Let your Love grow cylinder?

No. The most effective way to create a living memorial is to place the Let your Love grow organic mix directly into the earth, a planter, or landscaping.  The Let your Love grow cylinder is 100% biodegradable and recyclable.

What’s the difference between a biodegradable urn and LyLg?

Biodegradable urns break down, leaving behind unchanged, concentrated cremated ashes. These concentrated ashes can be harmful to the plant because of their naturally occurring high pH and high salt content. The ashes will not release their beneficial plant nutrients because of this high pH. With LyLg, the balance is maintained.  The organic mix naturally lowers the pH, allowing for a break down and release of the beneficial nutrients safely and efficiently into the environment.
